Mr Stephan Parry

Hi I'm Stephan and im the owner of Happy greens UK. I have always had a passion for growing plants and vegetables my entire life. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with cancer that I seriously started looking for health foods that would aid my recovery during treatment. That's when I came across microgreens online. I was impressed by how much nurtition these little microgreens managed to pack into a small plant and I started researching them further. I realised i'd love to grow these for sale and make a buisness out of it and in doing so help other people live healthier lives. I want to make nutritious food more available especially to children, I'd love to see kids eating our microgreens in their daily school lunches, that would be amazing.

Mr Oliver Parry

Hi, my name is Oliver and I'm the Director of Happy Greens UK. Happy Greens UK is a family-run buisness located in Cefn Cribwr, South Wales, UK. We have been growing microgreens produce for a while now and we absolutely love the process. We love the flavour and nutritional benefits that Microgreens offer and it is our goal to help provide healthy and high-quality food to our local community here in South Wales.

Our Growing Facility

We grow our delicious Microgreens in a state-of-the-art vertical farming facility here in Cefn Cribwr, South Wales. We spent alot of time creating the container and with the help of the children at Cefn Cribwr Primary School we weable to make it look beautiful also. We are very proud of what we've created here in our local community.  For our growing facility we chose to 'upcycle' a 40-foot refridgerated shipping container and convert it into a perfect microgreens growing space. The converted shipping container allows us to perfectly control the climate which enabled us to produce the highest qiality microgreens possible.

Inside The Container

Inside our state of the art growing container we fully utilise our growing space by using 'Vertical Farming' practices. This means we grow trays of microgreens above and below one another in vertical space as opposed to horizontally. This reduces the overall amount of space we need to grow our Microgreens and is widely recognised as the future of environmentally friendly farming practices.
